::RECAP:: Dawn, Bridget, and Aaron O My!
Post and all photos by Diamond Dixon
The Howard Theatre swelled to a full house on Sunday night for the "Golden Heart"
tour produced by Briclyn Entertainment that featured artists Dawn Richard, Bridget Kelly, and Aaron
Camper. The show was opened by the lovely emerging artist, Michelyn
Cierra, and the crowd was blown away by her breathtaking voice and
guitar skills.
Next to perform was GRAMMY nominated singer/songwriter Aaron Camper. His
set was pure greatness and was a mix of songs featured on his
latest E.P., Madness, which dropped last year and cover songs like Black
Sheep's "This or That", Taylor Swifts "Never Getting Back Together" and Boys To Men's "Water Run Dry". He had energy and his band kept the pace.
The lovely miss, Bridget Kelly, followed and
sang her latest single "Special Delivery" and also sang "Ex-factor"
paying homage to Lauryn Hill. The crowd just loved her sassyness and
beautiful voice as she sang "Seek and Destroy" which was featured on
her E.P. Every Girl.
The last performance was the beautiful Dawn
Richard, she literally tore the stage down with her impressive vocals
and even more impressive dance moves. The crowd was too hype when she
sang her single, "Faith" and "Bombs", on her latest E.P. Armor On.
This was my first time seeing each artist perform and it was an awesome
experience.
Each artist brought their own personality to the stage which is
what I loved most. The energy, musicianship, and talent made for a great show.
Make sure to follow the artists and show them support as the Golden Hearts tour continues across the country! Dawn Richard @DawnRichard Bridget Kelly @theycallmeBK Aaron Camper @AARONCamper
