Gypsy Soul began The Ear Candy Chronicles Mixtape Series in 2009 with help from DJ Phaze, & Briclyn Ent and after a brief hiatus has been revived to continue the mission of providing a fresh blend of musical offerings by artists that collectively break the mold of creative perception to craft art that spans the infinite spectrum of soul and hip hop.
Simply, The Ear Candy Chronicles Mixtape Series celebrates and promotes musical originality and ingenuity. This mix tape is an off shoot of the Ear Candy live performances series which began as a novel approach to listening parties, with a simplistically sultry atmosphere that encourages the digestion of good music, good food and good conversation but evolved into much more. Ear Candy has metamorphosed into an experience that allows fans to encounter rare moments as they get to know the artists they love while introducing new comers to artists they are sure to fall in love with.
