Last summer, Eboni Green completed her documentary project which explores 5 phenomenal independent music artists - Leon Timbo, Darnell Levin, TheLight, Mike Hicks and Chantae Can - on their pursuit of art.

Shot in Nashville and Atlanta, "Why Music : Independent Artists Speak" exposes the story of these 5 talented artists and their livs, struggles and triumphs. They openly voice their hopes and dreams, as well as the lessons they have learned so far on the business, the life and the importance of balance.

Green has recently released the soundtrack to the documentary, which is filled with music from varying genres, poignant words of advice from each artist.
