I feel like Amanda Diva hasn’t been given a fair shot and I can’t think of one legitimate reason why. Lets face it: there aren’t a lot of Femcee’s in this here game of Hip-hoppin', and so far the only person up to bat is Nicki Minaj (luvs u Barbie)!! At this point it almost seems as if these women have to take turns. But Amanda Diva has accomplished in her 29 short years, what most could barely dream of. The woman has a rap sheet…A GREAT ONE. Yet I'm still left wondering.
By the age 12 she was showing off her acting chops on a show by the name of My Brother & Me, on this little known network, Nickelodeon.
Diva is a Def Jam Poet, a singer, writer, painter, rapper, former MTV VJ, graduate of Columbia University, toured with Floetry, hosts her own web talk show on AOL Black voices (The Spark), and is just all around awesome.
She also has her own segment on my favorite daily blog stop---Creative Control TV dot com. Technicolor Lover is basically a day in the life of a Diva, and all her hilariously strange encounters
She has 101 different hustles going on yet still manages to maintain such incredible depth, personality, and artistic vision in whatever she gets into. I can’t wait to see what else’s she’s got up her sleeve. Here is her latest video ‘MANchild’
